6th Annual 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon Run at Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm

This is an off road run starting and ending at the farm including through tulip fields and around the farm benefiting the Oregon City High School Track and Field and Cross Country Teams. It is put on with volunteers from their track team. It should be a fun run, rain or shine! Finisher Medals for all participants!
After carefully considering options for the 2020 Wooden Shoe TulipFest, we have to share the sad news that there will not be a WoodenShoe TulipFest this year. Thus, it has become evident that it will not be possible to hold the 2020 Wooden Shoe TulipFest 5k/10k and 1/2 Marathon. As runners and fans of the farm ourselves, we understand the deep disappointment this will cause to our participants, as well as the impact this has on our sponsors, vendors, partners and community. All of us are heartbroken by this outcome.
As a local school fundraiser, we make every effort to keep our costs to a minimum. We have a no refund policy in order to preserve our ability to act as race directors while also protecting our program funds from being depleted, even in the event of a major disruption like the one we’re all experiencing. Early in the response to COVID-19 it had been our hope that a postponed date would allow for exceptions to our no refund policy however, with the cancellation of the festival we have had to reconsider. Given that all funds used to support the race thus far have come from our school funded program account, our athletes would lose those fundraised monies directly. To avoid this loss we have chosen to offer the following to our 2020 registered participants.
All registered participants in the 5k/10k or Half Marathon will receive free transfer to either next year’s race (March 20, 2021) or to the 2022 race (scheduled for March 19, 2022). Transfers cannot be processed automatically; participants must take this action themselves. Participants will have through the end June (June 30, 2020) to process their transfer and choose which future race to participate in.
Registration for the 2021 and 2022 races will open in August each year. We will continue to allow bib # transfer to another participant if you find that will be necessary in the future. We will handle those situations through our race contact link when registration is open.
