Friendly dogs and other animals are welcome on leashes, we just ask that you clean up after your pet. Many families choose to bring their dog and other animals, so consider if your pet is able to be around others.

Tulips are very sensitive to weather and come up when the ground has defrosted. Some come up early at the end of March while others wait until later in April when the ground is warmer. Generally speaking, mid-April typically has the best overlap of color between the early, mid and late blooming tulips.

The majority of our farm is grass, gravel, and dirt, but we have a paved area near our main building. Full accessibility is often determined by weather, durability of your wheelchair or device, and its ability to navigate grass, gravel, and dirt. The position of our tulip fields rotate annually, differing the length between the tulips and the paved area. We have a shuttle that goes from the main building and drops off at the tulip field and requires a step to get on-board.

If you want to visit outside of those posted hours, we offer a season pass that allows entry one hour before sunrise and/or one hour after sunset. Additionally, we offer an early morning sunrise day pass that allows entry an hour before sunrise.

Our tickets are offered online only and do sell out on nice days and weekends when we are in full bloom. We recommend you plan ahead and purchase your tickets as soon as you know when you will visit.

We limit capacity per time slot to allow for better traffic flow and a better customer experience on the farm. Once tickets are sold out, there are no other options for entry.

Depending on weather, we do release additional tickets. We ask you watch out ticketing platform and social media for updates.

A majority of the additional activities on our farm take credit cards. All vendors take debit and credit on our farm.

We have food options everyday with a few extra vendors on weekends, but families are welcome to use our picnic tables and bring their own food. See our festival activity pages for a list of vendors. We also sell local beer and Wooden Shoe Vineyards wine in our tasting room. If your family has any allergies or food restrictions, we suggest bringing your own picnic.

We are open rain or shine. A few of our kids’ activities and the tethered hot air balloon flights are weather dependent  (see our activities list for more information). Keep in mind that when it rains, you might find yourself dodging more mud puddles, so be sure to come dressed in boots and umbrellas. We do not give refunds for rainy days.

All of the bulbs are in the ground and blooming during the tulip festival. You can order your bulbs while you visit for FALL shipping and planting. You can purchase cut flowers, or we have potted tulips available to purchase to take home, while supplies last.

Unfortunately public transportation does not extend as far out of Woodburn as our tulip farm. We have seen some large group tour buses come through, but at this time we do not have any tour bus offerings set up through our festival. There is a transit bus from Portland Airport to downtown Woodburn, but we are about 7 miles from downtown Woodburn. Our best recommendation is to reach out to Uber or Lyft.
