Silverton Health Mud Puddle Challenge

The forecast calls for rain this weekend which is exactly what we need for a good old Mud Puddle Challenge!

Come to the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival this weekend to enjoy the tulips, stomp through some mud puddles and have some good old fashioned family fun.

All you need to do is visit the Silverton Health tent at the Tulip Festival this Saturday or Sunday, get your pedometer and track your stomps, steps or jumps around the tulip fields. On your way out, fill out an entry form for your chance to win a one night stay at the Oregon Garden Resort, Salem-Keizer Volcanoes game tickets and more!

The “Mud Puddle Challenge” is sponsored by Silverton Health. No purchase or payment necessary to enter or win. This Contest is governed by these official rules. By entering in the Contest, each entrant agrees to abide by these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements, and understands that the results of the Contest, as determined by Sponsor, are final in all respects. The Contest is subject to all federal, state and local laws and regulations and is void where prohibited by law.

ELIGIBILITY

The Contest is open to legal residents of Oregon where not prohibited by law, who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at time of entry. Entrants under the age of 18 must have parental permission and be supervised for duration of Contest. Sponsor has the right to verify the eligibility of each entrant.

CONTEST PERIOD

The Contest begins at April 11, 2015 10:00 AM PST and ends April 12, 2015 5:00 PM PST. All entries must be received on or before the time stated during the Contest period. Sponsor reserves the right to extend or shorten the Contest at their sole discretion.

HOW TO ENTER

You can enter the Mud Puddle Challenge by simply tracking your steps around the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm during the Contest Period and then submitting your steps at the Silverton Health table on-site at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Festival. Steps should be recorded and submitted for one day only, but you may enter as many times as you wish during the Contest Period. This is done according to the honor system (so be good!), any suspicious entries will be evaluated and removed if it is found they are forged or deemed suspect in any way. Entrants must fill out all fields on the entry form and participate in the Contest to be eligible.

WINNER SELECTION

All eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be gathered into a database at the end of the Contest Period. Winners will be selected based on the number of recorded steps for the Mud Puddle Challenge.

The winners will be announced via Facebook on May 1, 2015. Announcement and instructions for prize will be sent to the e-mail address supplied on the potential prizewinner’s entry form. Each entrant is responsible for monitoring his/her e-mail account for prize notification, if the potential prize winner cannot be reached within fifteen (15) days using the contact information provided, that prize winner shall forfeit the prize and the runner up will be given the prize.

PRIZES

Prizes are non-transferrable. No substitutions or cash equivalent of prizes is permitted. Sponsor is not responsible for any typographical or other errors in the offer or administration of the Contest. Silverton Health Mud Puddle Challenge Official Contest Rules

Grand Prize (Quantity: 1): Oregon Garden Resort Stay for Two generously donated by the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm. Grand prizewinner will be entitled to a one- night stay at the Oregon Garden Resort complete with breakfast for two (2) and two (2) passes for admission to the Oregon Garden. Certificate expires May 2016, so prize must be redeemed before then. Must be 21 years or older to qualify for this prize.

Second Place (Quantity: 2): Salem-Keizer Volcanoes family pack including 4 ticket vouchers that may be redeemed at Salem-Keizer Volcanoes box office for game of choice. Must be 18 years or older to redeem prize. Those prizewinners under 18 will need to have parent/guardian claim prize on their behalf. These tickets will be available at the end of May and are valid for the 2015 season. Prize Winner must reply to notification with valid mailing address to receive prize.

Third Place (Quantity: 4): Silverton Health goodie grab bags. Must be 18 years or older to redeem prize. Those prizewinners under 18 will need to have parent/guardian claim prize on their behalf. The grab bags will be sent via USPS to prizewinners. Prize Winner must reply to notification with valid mailing address to receive prize.

INDEMNIFICATIONS AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering the Contest, each entrant agrees to indemnify, release and hold harmless Sponsor and Event Location/Host (Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm) from any liability, damages, losses or injury resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from that entrant’s participating in the Contest and the acceptance, use or misuse of any prize that may be won. Sponsor and Event Location/Host does not make any warranties, expressed or implied, as to the condition or merchant ability of the prize.

PUBLICITY

By participating in the Mud Puddle Challenge, each entrant grants Sponsor and Event Location/Host permission to use his/her name, likeness or comments for publicity purposes without payment of additional consideration, except where prohibited by law.
