Mud Sweat and Blooms

The Mud, Sweat and Blooms 5k fun run with 15+ obstacles is open to all ages and includes a dunk tank, mechanical bull, and snow cones. Get your family and friends together for a great day of adventure and leisure at the Wooden Shoe Tulip Farm!
The 5K Mud Run starts at 9:00 a.m., with registration opening at 8:15 a.m. The race is self-timed, with clocks available at both the start and finish lines. This is also a dog-friendly event, making it a great choice for runners, walkers, families, and pet lovers looking for a memorable summer race.
Proceeds from the event support the charitable work of Woodburn Rotary and the Woodburn Rotary Foundation. Woodburn Rotary supports local families, Boys and Girls Club, local fire districts, park projects, dental clinics for uninsured kids, international medical programs and more!

Floral Workshop
6:00 pm - 7:30 pm
Spend an evening with Wild Fern Florals for a hands-on Floral Design Workshop and learn the fundamentals of creating beautiful, garden-inspired arrangements. Our experienced instructor will guide you through the design process, covering flower selection, color balance, composition, and arranging techniques to help you create a stunning floral centerpiece. Perfect for beginners and flower enthusiasts alike, this workshop provides all materials and instruction needed to design and take home your own custom arrangement. After the workshop, stay and enjoy the sunset among the flower fields.
This all-inclusive experience includes admission, one drink of choice (wine, beer, cider, or NA), a u-pick flower jar, and a small charcuterie cup or seasonal bite. Ticket valid for one individual. Workshop starts at 6 PM, concludes at 7:30 PM. Stay until 9 PM to enjoy the flower fields for sunset if you like. Limited activities, shops and food available outside of regular hours.
Bloom timing varies with weather conditions, and not all fields may be in peak bloom during your visit. No refunds.

Sunset Piano in the Flower Fields

Join us for a magical evening surrounded by millions of sunflowers, vibrant seasonal blooms, and beautiful live piano music.
Experience an unforgettable concert in the flower fields. As golden hour settles over the farm, relax among the flowers while wearing wireless headphones to hear pianist and composer Paula Dreyer. Enjoy an enchanting outdoor performance immersed in color, music, and the warmth of summer.
Bring friends, a comfortable chair or wander through the fields, and enjoy a memorable summer evening where nature and music come together.
Outside food and drink welcome. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

Watercolor in Bloom: A Self-Guided Painting Experience

Enjoy a morning of creativity surrounded by the beauty of our summer flower fields. Watercolor in Bloom is a self-guided painting experience where you’ll create your own floral-inspired artwork using a pre-designed template at your own pace. No painting experience is necessary, and all supplies are provided. Our team will be available throughout the morning to answer questions and assist if needed, but there is no formal instructor or guided class.
Your ticket includes admission to Summer Flowers, one beverage of your choice (coffee, wine, beer, cider, or a non-alcoholic option), a u-pick flower jar, a pastry, small charcuterie cup or seasonal bite, and all watercolor painting supplies.
Arrive anytime between 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM, choose a cozy spot anywhere around the farm, and enjoy a relaxing morning of painting, sipping, and taking in the flowers. Stay until 5:00 PM to explore the fields.
