Proposed rule changes by the Oregon Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) could make it harder for farms like ours and many others across the state to stay open to the public. These changes could limit what we’re allowed to offer at our farm stand and create uncertainty for how we operate into the futur

Update: Thanks to the strong public response and the many farmers who spoke out, the Department of Land Conservation and Development (DLCD) and Governor’s Office have decided to pause its proposed farmstand rulemaking.

We are incredibly grateful for the outpouring of support for our farm and for family farms across Oregon. While this pause is just one step in addressing broader challenges, it is a meaningful and positive moment for farms that welcome the public and work hard to preserve Oregon’s agricultural heritage.
